Barr Hudu Yunusa Ari

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has fired Barr Hudu Yunusa Ari mini as Resident Electoral Commissioner in Adamawa State.
A release issued by Barr Festus Okoye, National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee of INEC dated Monday, April 17, 2023 and titled, ‘Status of the Resident Electoral Commissioner for Adamawa State’, said , following the purported declaration of the results for Adamawa State Governorship election yesterday, Sunday, 16th April 2023, the Commission has withdrawn it’s delegated powers from Barr Hudu Yunusa Ari mini as the REC for the State.

“Accordingly, he has been directed to stay away from the Commission’s office in Adamawa State forthwith.”
The release added that the “Administrative Secretary of the Commission in Adamawa State has been directed to take over the affairs of the State office until further notice.”
