Oborevwori is the best to succeed Okowa who is best choice for Atiku says Urhobo group, UPIO

The Urhobo foremost socio – polical group, Urhobo Peoples Integrity Organisation ( UPIO) has stated that the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon ( Elder ) Sheriff Francis Oborevwori is the best candidate to succeed Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in 2023 .

UPIO stated that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa was the best choice of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ) presidential candidate, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku for the Vice presidential candidate

These were contained in a statement issued by UPIO shortly after its last general monthly meeting in Ekpan, Uvwie Local Government Area, last weekend.

In the statement signed by Dr ( Olorogun ) Ebenezer Okorodudu and Chief Jerry Eruvbedede ( National President and National Secretary respectively ), it noted that the winner of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Delta State governorship primary Rt Hon( Elder ) Sheriff Oborevwori has all it takes to succeed Governor Okowa in 2023 .

The statement substantiated the claim by noting that besides experience, there was an existing synergy between Governor Okowa and the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Oborevwori.

Such a relationship guarantees a smooth continuity in governance.

UPIO further stated that the emergence of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori as the the winner of the PDP Delta State governorship primary was divine.

The group gladly noted that the issuance of a certificate of returns to Rt Hon Chief Sherif Francis Oborevwori by the national working committee of PDP and the recent court judgements have vindicated the speaker of the state house of assembly as a very qualified candidate for the number one political seat in Delta State.

UPIO therefore congratulated the PDP governorship flag bearer in 2023 general elections , Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.

The pro PDP group in the statement, also urged electorate in Delta State to vote for Chief Sheriff Francis Oborevwori and other PDP candidates in the 2023 general elections.

UPIO also seized the opportunity to congratulate the speaker, members and staffs of Delta State House of Assembly on the successful celebration of the 3rd anniversary of the 7th assembly of the house.

UPIO in the statement noted that positive antecedents and pedigree of Governor Okowa in comity of PDP governors and indeed governors of other polical parties in Nigeria made him the best choice for PDP Vice Presidential candidate .They therefore hailed Governor Okowa for his emergence as the PDP Vice presidential candidate in 2023 general elections.
