Parents who encourage their children to engage in ‘yahoo’ and ‘yahoo plus’ practises of defrauding and shedding blood of innocent people to make money have been warned to desist forthwith or face the consequences of their ignoble act.
Prophet Alex Ayerota, General Overseer of Jesus Glory Healing and Deliverance Ministry handed down the warning in a sermon, last Sunday, during the church service.
Preaching on the topic, “No man can serve two masters at the same time”, the Cleric expressed worry about how people who profess to be Christians would on Sunday be in church and on the next native market day would be in the shrine to consult the oracle.
” How can a church worker: choir, steward, teacher, prophet, pastor, deacon, elder etc be in church in the day and at night go to coven?
” One leg in the church another in the shrine. Sometimes they are ashamed to go to the shrine for fear of public view and commission agents to go perform the rites or check the oracle on their behalf.”
He told a story of a Man of God who once took him to the bush where he had a large shrine and conducted him round the shrine telling him the various powers available there. The Man of God said he inherited the shrine from his father and converted the operations to a church to attract unsuspecting people. By the evil powers therein he has opened many branches of the church and commissioned pastors over them but indeed what they do is fetishism.
” He can pray and miracles happen. If he prays for a yahoo boy they must pick. Watch those pastors who pray for yahoo boys they have shrines hidden somewhere. God cannot encourage fraud. Pastors who pray for them are satanic.
” All that they run after are material things that will not last. If you know your God it might take sometime but your breakthrough will surely come to pass and it will last for ever.
“There is time for everything and when it is your time nobody can stop it.
“Nobody is serving God anymore all we are interested in is money and money. Mothers and fathers buy phone for their children to get into ‘yahoo’ fraud business, taking children from shrine to shrine to enable them ‘pick’. One took his son to a shrine where they used a tortoise to do charm for the boy but it turned out that the potent resulted to the boy running mad. When they brought the boy here I told the father I see tortoise and he confessed he used the tortoise to do the charm for the boy to ‘pick’ easily. Within three weeks the boy was restored to sanity and the man promised to come for thanksgiving but never came.
” All those who loudly speak in tongue, ‘kabash’ and weirdly manifest in church in the day but in the night turn a groundnut shell to a helicopter and fly to coven will be disgraced. One of such went to afternoon coven but had a crash and landed naked and confessed. One choir confessed that each time the pastor preached she pissed on his head until one day she was exposed by a superior man of God and she confessed to the evil act. An evangelist who engaged in early morning cry everyday was exposed when she cried to the neighbourhood of a native doctor who confronted her telling her that she had no right to preach Christ because they both meet in the same coven.
Witches clap most in church, they sing loudest they do everything most fervently, they sit in the front of the church and frustrate committed members of the church.
Quoting Micah 5: 11-15, he
charged all such persons in the church to repent or be burnt with the fire of the Holy Spirit.
He frowned at people who own and dedicate their lives to the worship of idols saying they would only make things difficult for themselves.
” When you have idols and honour them, give them food and ask them to bless you calling such idols your spiritual husband or spiritual wife then you are in bondage and cannot prosper.
Those false prophets who use fetishism to decieve people shall be cut off from the land.” He said supporting the assertion with Zechariah 13:2 as reference.
” In those days pastors were honoured but these days they have lost their respect. I was once stopped on the road by the police. I introduced myself as a man of God the police disregarded that identity until I reintroduce myself as an officer, proved my identity before I was let go.
By their fruits we shall know them. Pastors now do charm more than the laity.” He lamented and charged the congregation to in line with Matthew 6:23, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all the wealth and enjoyment you seek shall be added to you.”
Concluding the sermon he further warned:
” Every parent that bought phone for their children to do yahoo should desist, all yahoo must stop, anybody who drop money from yahoo in this church will not pick again. Before yahoo came youths were youths but now youth have become old men and die prematurely. ”
