Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA), Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor has described the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, High Chief Kestin Pondi as a symbol of selfless service whose initiatives have significantly impacted the Kurutie community and environs.
The Speaker made the remark while presenting an award of excellence and honour to High Chief Pondi for his outstanding contributions to the development of Kurutie Community and humanity at large.
The award was presented during the grand finale of the Kurutie annual Amafinide Uge Festival held recently.
Presenting the award on behalf of the Kurutie community, Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor also highlighted High Chief Pondi’s exemplary dedication to advancing human and community welfare.
The Amafinide Uge Festival is a vibrant cultural event which showcases the rich cultural heritage of Kurutie people.
The Festival provided a fitting platform for recognition and acknowledgment of High Chief Pondi and other distinguished individuals for their efforts in improving lives and driving development.
The recognition was warmly applauded by the spectating audience affirming Pondi’s reputation as a visionary leader and a Philanthropist whose actions inspire positive change across communities.
Kurutie is one of the Ijaw speaking island communities located in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West local government area of Delta State, Nigeria.
The community is blessed with abundant natural resources.
