Promotion: 3 Area Commanders in Delta Police Command earn DCP rank

Four senior Police officers of the Delta State Police Command have earned promotion to the next rank of service.

The promoted officers are: DCP Oladipo Sunday, DCP Abubakar Mohammed Bashir, DCP Lamba Dauda Bot and ACP Graham Osazee Imade.

Until their promotions they were Area Commanders Asaba, Warri and  Ogwashi-Uku and immediate past Commander Dragon Patrol Delta State Command respectively.

They were all decorated by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, represented  by the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Abaniwonda Olufemi and assisted by Deputy Commissioner of Police Administration DCP Wilfred Afolabi, Tuesday, June 25 at the Police Headquarters, Asaba.

The occasion was spiced with merriment savoured by  relatives, friends and well wishers of the promoted officers who beamed smiles of joy all through.

The Commissioner of Police Delta State CP Olufemi Abaniwonda after decorating them with their new ranks admonished all the beneficiaries to remember that the reward for hard work is more work and therefore advised them to put more effort while discharging their duties and ensure that they do not disappoint the Inspector General of Police, and the public.
