HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso JP OON Abe 1 the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom has appreciated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa over his successful rulership of Uvwie Kingdom so far.
This was contained in his address during a ceremony at his posh palace GRA Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area last weekend.
The Uvwie monarch remarked that Uvwie has witnessed tremendous developments in the 8 years administration of Governor Okowa both in human and capital developments.
The Ovie of Uvwie stated that he will forever be grateful to Governor Okowa for his patronage of Uvwie Kingdom.
The traditional ruler siezed the opportunity to urge his subjects and non indigenes in the kingdom to support and pray for the governor elect Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori ‘ s administration in order to continue to enjoy the patronage of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
Abe 1 had earlier warned Uvwie indigenes to express hospitality to visitors particularly in the remaining days of his 15th coronation anniversary .
Abe 1 who spoke in Uvwie dialect of Urhobo language stated that visitors were expected from far and near for the celebration.
He therefore warned that his subjects should be mindful of their encounter with visitors by according the visitors due respect and hospitality.
