Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Gov elect

Igbo political appointees in Delta State have asserted that the victory of Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ) Delta State governoship candidate Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori at the just concluded gubernatorial election was a true reflection of the wish of Deltans.
This was contained in a statement issued by the appointees, Hon ( Chief ) Michael Ezeh, Nze Francis Onuora and Dr Ogbonnaya Igwe (Executive Assistant to Governor Okowa on Community Development, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Okowa on Community Development and Special Assistant to Governor Okowa Community Development respectively ) in Warri on Monday 20th, 2023.
The statement noted that Deltans wished for a continuation of the good governance of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa ” hence they voted massively for Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori and PDP ” the statement added.
The statement expressed appreciation to the Igbos in Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts for yeilding to the advice of the appointees ( who comprised the leadership of Ndigbo Political Ambassadors ) of voting for Rt Oborevwori and PDP candidates in the said elections .
The statement also expressed optimism that the governor elect of Delta State Rt Sheriff Francis Oborevwori and the PDP will continue to patronize the Igbos in Delta State.
The statement therefore urged the Igbos to extend the support they have for governor Okowa to the governor elect Rt Hon Oborevwori and PDP
