Gov elect, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and wife

Foremost Urhobo socio / cultural group , Urhobo Peoples Integrity Organisation ( UPIO ) has asserted that the victory of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP )Delta State governoship candidate Rt Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, at the just concluded gubernatorial election , was an indication of the appreciation of Deltans to PDP over its good governance of the state.
This was contained in a statement issued by Dr ( Olorogun ) Ebenezer Okorodudu and Olorogun Jerry Eruvbedede ( National President and National Secretary respectively ) in Ekpan Uvwie Local Government Area on Monday March 20, 2023.

The statement noted that Deltans were appreciative of the fact that governor Ifeanyi Okowa and PDP have impacted positively on Deltans and Delta State .
” In appreciation, they ( Deltans ) voted enmass for Rt Sheriff Francis Oborevwori and PDP candidates ” the statement added.

The statement expressed optimism that the governor elect will improve on the laudable achievements of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa owing to achievements Rt Oborevwori so far, as the speaker Delta State House of Assembly.
The pro PDP group had earlier in the statement, congratulated Rt Sheriff Francis Oborevwori over the victory.
