A Warri based legal practitioner, Shadrack Ogbeifo has expressed confidence that the Delta State governor – elect , Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori will excel as governor of Delta State.
Ogbeifo spoke to newsmen on the victory of Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori in Warri at the weekend.
He explained that his conviction was based on the fact that the governor elect has a long standing good relationship with the outgoing governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.

Ogbeifo who is also a renowned educationist noted that such a relationship was good for the good governance of the state.
” He ( Oborevwori ) knows where to start from after Governor Okowa ‘ s tenure.
” Besides he knows the areas to improve upon when he assumes office as the governor of Delta State .

” Other Candidates will not have such an advantage” he added
The Abraka born lawyer cum educationist had earlier hailed Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori on the victory as he noted that it was a victory well deserved for the governor elect and the PDP .
Ogbeifo noted that after the presidential and and national assembly elections of which the Labour Party sprang surprises across the country, the PDP in Delta State did not go to sleep like other political parties but rather embarked on a rigorous grassroot campaign that resulted to a landslide victory for Rt Hon Oborevwori and PDP.
