One of Dr ( Olorogun ) Ebenezer Okorodudu ‘ s support group for Delta State governor – elect , New Delta National League celebrated the electoral victory of Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governoship candidate Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori in Ekpan Uvwie Local Government Area last weekend.
The Chairman of the group , Isah Peters in his brief speech at the epoch making event, affirmed that they supported Rt Hon Oborevwori in the contest because of its loyalty for the Chief of Staff to Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly Dr ( Olorogun ) Ebenezer Okorodudu.

He proudly disclosed that the over 12 members of New Delta National League across the state voted for the Delta State governoship candidate.
Isah Peters vowed that the group will support the Delta State governor elect for a second tenure.
The Chairman of the occasion, Dr ( Chief ) Israel Abido ( JP ) in his opening speech lauded the group for its support for Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori as he said that it was a wise decision.

Abido who is the National 2nd Vice President of foremost Urhobo socio / political group, Urhobo Peoples Integrity Organisation (UPIO) took a swipe at Peoples Democratic Party members that defected to All Progressive Congress (APC ) shortly before the governorship and state house of assembly elections.
Abido who is also the Chairman Delta State Library Board remarked that the said PDP were ungrateful to Governor Okowa and the party.
Another speaker, Dr ( Chief ) Philip Ileleji spoke in the same vein as he stated that the decampees should not be allowed to return to PDP.
Dr ( Olorogun ) had earlier appreciated the group for its enormous support for the Delta State governor elect and for hosting the event.

The Chief of Staff to the Speaker Delta State House of Assembly who is also the National President of UPIO proudly disclosed that there were three other groups that registered their support for the Delta State governor elect through him.
He assured that the governor elect will improve on the achievements of Governor Okowa.
High points of the event, were the cutting of the victory cake and presentation of a large portrait photograph of Delta State governor – elect by the group through Dr ( Olorogun ) Okorodudu.
