Ikemefuna urges support for education of indigent students

Renowned educationist and Proprietress of Sharma School, Enerhen Uvwie Local Government Area has urged the public to show support for the education of indigent students in the society.

She made the call during her birthday and marriage anniversaries with her husband Greg Ikemefuna at Ekpan Uvwie Local Government Area on Sunday 30th April, 2023.

She disclosed that her school through the assistance of her husband Greg Ikemefuna an engineer has offered scholarship to scores of indigent students since the existence of Sharma School that will be twenty years in existence by September this year .

The renowned counselor who commended and appreciated HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso JP OON Abe 1 the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom for his passion for education, remarked that the Uvwie monarch has shown great support for the education of a lot of children in the local government area .

While urging government and the public to emulate the gesture of the traditional ruler by showing support for the education of indigent students in the society , she distributed cards to guests at the well attended event to indicate their interest for their support for the education of indigent students through her school..
