As in Adamawa, reverse your satanic results in Delta INEC told

INEC Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu

Niger Delta Emerging Youth Initiative, NDEYI in collaboration with Agege Political Vanguard, APV have called on the national headquarters of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to do all it can to reverse the satanic results announced by the Returning Officer in charge of the Delta State Governorship election, Prof Georgewill Owuneri Abraham, held on March 18; an instrument the People’s Democratic Party, PDP is using to parade a pyrhic victory for Speaker Sheriff Oborevwori and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

A statement jointly issued by the two groups and signed by Comrade Felix Akpoyibo and Dan Agbada, on behalf of NDEYI and APV respectively, said at the point of final collation of results of the Delta State Governorship election in Asaba, they were surprised that in the face of wide and damning evidence of rigging and bypass of Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BIVAS in over 1,500 political units in Delta State guber election, INEC went ahead to declare the PDP candidate winner of the election.

Ironically, in the Adamawa State scenario, where the Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Yunusa Hudu Ari, in usurpation of the role and powers of the Returning Officer of the State, declared the All Progressives Congress, APC candidate, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani winner of the election even without reference to related Data analysis. INEC Hqtrs, however, quickly revoked the declaration and nullified every action related to such declaration.

The group said it was obvious that the REC was acting against the script of some dark forces that had over bearing influence on the State Returning Officer that motivated him to such ultravires to the extent of blatant rigging of the election.

Appreciating those who resisted the action of the REC, they however did not lament the humiliation and assault meted on him, which was rightly deserved.

“It is the same dark forces of cabals that rigged out Senator Ovie Omo-Agege in Delta State, this time working in cross purpose in Adamawa, where the Returning Officer, Prof Mohammed Melee complicit reluctance and the REC’s illegitimate rescue mission to stop the attempt to manipulate victory against and for Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani snowballed to the ugly situation, and we call on INEC Hqtrs, Abuja, to use every instrument within their powers to ensure that the pyrhic victory declared for PDP in Delta State is overturned at the election petition tribunal in line with the spirit of fairness and justice..

“Deltans could not have resorted to violent reaction as displayed by the PDP in Adamawa, but now that the matter is at the Tribunal, by due democratic process, let INEC Hqtrs avail itself and be guided by its moral code to promote the service of justice and put an end to illegal occupation of political office as being grabbed by Speaker Sheriff Oborevwori and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in Delta State.” The statement said.
