Ahead of the 15th Biennial Police Games (BIPOGA 2026), scheduled to hold from February 7-14, 2026 in Asaba, the Force Sports Planning committee has held a 2-day strategic conference; Friday January 16 and Saturday January 17, 2026 in Asaba to ascertain the level of preparedness, cross the t(s) and dot the i(s) as well as inspect sporting facilities designated for the games.
The conference and inspection exercise was led by AIG Fom Pam Joseph, Chairman of the Force Sports Planning Committee, and was aimed at fine-tuning operational plans, logistics, and coordination ahead of the commencement of the games.
In attendance at the conference and inspection were senior officers of the Nigeria Police Force, including AIG Suleiman Abdul, CP Dantawaye Miller, CP Hassan Gwani, CP Osifo Emefiele, and the Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Aina Adesola, alongside other senior officers and members of the Force Sports Planning Committee.
During the conference, critical issues bordering on venue readiness, security arrangements, accommodation, transportation, medical services, and general logistics were discussed, with emphasis placed on ensuring a seamless and professionally coordinated sporting event.
Following the conference, the Committee embarked on an inspection tour of the various sporting facilities to be utilised for the games, assessing infrastructure, safety standards, logistics, and overall suitability for athletes and officials expected from police commands and formations across the country.

The Force Sports Planning Committee reaffirmed their commitment to delivering a safe, orderly, and successful sporting festival, assuring participants and members of the public that preparations are progressing steadily.
