15th coronation of Abe 1 was a milestone–Erute

The President General of Uvwie General Improvement Union (UGIU) Chief Abovi Hope Erute has remarked that the celebration of the 15th coronation anniversary of HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso JP OON Abe 1 the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom was a milestone.

Erute made the remark in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent at his Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area residence at the weekend.

He noted that the two weeks event was interesting and that it was also full of innovations.

” It shows that Uvwie Kingdom has come of age and has also come far in the comity of kingdoms in Urhobo Nation.

” It shows that Uvwie Kingdom is truly the Inoko ( London ) of Urhobo Nation ” he added.

Erute further noted that discussants at a colloquium that marked the event at the PTI Conference Centre Effurun, attempted to harmonize the history of Uvwie people.

The PG of UGIU further noted further that the Uvwie monarch consolidated on the modernization of Uvwie people with the historic event.

While he recalled that the discussants applauded the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom for the establishment of a scholarship scheme, he noted that they advocated for the full involvement of corporate bodies sponsorship of the scheme as part of their corporate social responsibilities.

” The communities will work towards that suggestion ” he assured.

Erute expressed delight over the rich display exhibited in cultural dances during the visit of the Uvwie monarch to the tradititioal administrative units in the kingdom.

He opined that there was economic potentials in the cultural dances in the entertainment industry.

Erute who bears the title of Oviemo of Uvwie Kingdom appreciated those that contributed to the success of the event.

He also hailed and congratulated Abe 1 for the huge success of his 15th coronation anniversary celebration.
