Renovated Erhoike Cottage Hospital

Heritage Energy Operational Sevices Limited HEOSL, operator of OML30 Asset in Delta State, on Tuesday clarified that it never at any time claimed to have spent hundreds of millions of naira on the renovation and upgrade of the Cottage Hospital in Erhoike Community.
The company said this clarification has become necessary in the light of the misrepresentation in some media platforms on the subject.
The General Manager – Government, Joint Venture and External Relations of Heritage Energy, Adesola Adebawo, said the company is proud of its partnership with its host communities in OML 30 and will continue to work together to deliver sustainable development to the host communities.
HEOSL said the project was awarded to indigene of the community and the total cost of the project is verifiable, urging anyone in doubt to get further facts from it’s office in Warri, Delta State.
Meanwhile, the President General of Erhioke Community (immediate beneficiary of the project), Chief Lucky Udjemu, has explained that all the appropriate community leaderships, including himself, Chairman of Kokori Community Development Committee, Chief Sunday Umunade, representative of Kokori Council of Chiefs were invited to grace the handover ceremony.
Udjemu said: ” HEOSL officially invited me being the President General of Erhioke Community. HEOSL further delegated me to invite the Chairman of Kokori Community Development Committee, Chief Sunday Umunade, who also duly informed the Kokori Council of Chiefs about the the handover ceremony.
He maintained that HEOSL should be commended for renovating and upgrading the Erhioke Cottage Hospital with the supply of medical equipments and drugs worth millions of naira.
