* Says His Lordship was a beacon of professional ethics

The Honourable Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice Delta State, Isaiah Bozimo Esq, has described late Justice Blessing Ogale Ideh as a focus, intelligent and a beacon of professional decency.
The state Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in his eulogy for late Hon Justice Blessing Ogale Ideh on the ocassion of His Lordships valedictory court session at Effurun Delta State, said late Justice Ogale gave distinguished service to the people and government of Delta State, the legal profession, the judiciary and the courts.
Mr Bozimo while paying his tribute to Justice Ideh’s distinguished career in the Law profession, he alighted those pivotal and good moments in His Lordships life and services to the state.
He revealed that His Lordships, Hon. Justice B O Ideh was first appointed to the bench as a chief magistrate in 2007, and given her meritorious service in several magisterial District, His Lordship was elevated to the High Court Bench in 2018 when her service was pioneering in that regard being the first woman from Oleh and the entire Isoko land to serve as a magistrate and a Judge.
The Commissioner explained further that His Lordships focus, intelligence , and undeterred drive for excellence defined her career as a beacon of professional ethics and decency who neither cut corners and never tolerated mediocrity.
He added that , ” I am confident that the discipline and selflessnes that characterised His Lordships, stemmed from her devotion to Christianity and her selfless service to God ”
The Attorney general and Commissioner continued, ” As we bid His Lordships farewell, I remember the words by the English poet George Elliott, ” Our dead ones are never dead to us until we have forgotten them. I also look to Roman 14: 8 which tells us that ” If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to God”
” I therefore take solace in the knowledge that justice Ideh lived and died for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. His Lordships memories will continue through us Justice Ideh served the Bench with distinction until her untimely demise. The legal profession in Delta state is indebted to His Lordship for her valuable contribution ” He concluded.
