The Labour Party is rock confident of getting victory at the on going Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT), in Abuja having presented all evidences to prove its case.
The national Chairman of the Party, Comrade Julius Abure made the assertion on Wednesday, 5 July, 2023 when he addressed the media in Benin-City, the Edo State Capital.
Baring his thoughts on the on-going case at the PEPT, Abure asserts: “We have marshalled out all our evidences in court, the APC and INEC are struggling with their defense, we are doing very well at the Tribunal and I am sure justice will be served at the end of the day.
“Our stolen mandate no doubts; we will reclaim it at the level of the Court and that is why we have appealed to our supporters to be calm.
“I want to once more reiterate that we believe in the judicial process, we believe in the Court, we believe that the judiciary will do the right thing.”
Abure further asserts: “our struggle is going to continue because not until our vision to reclaim this country and hand it over to the common people is realized, we will not rest on our oars.”
The LP and its candidate, Peter Obi are done with the presentation of their arguments and evidences, while the accused; President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) have opened their defense and equally closed their defences.
