A Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP ) aspirant for the Ughelli Udu Federal House of Representatives seat, Olorogun ( Hon) Eunice Daji Okoh has stated that the grand and massive reception by Deltans for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa at cenotaph , Asaba on his arrival from Abuja was a testimony of Deltans’ support for Governor Okowa ‘ s PDP Vice candidure .
She stated this in a media interaction with news men during the reception at the cenotaph Asaba on Thursday 23rd June, 2022.
The frontline politician who stormed Asaba Airport with her teeming supporters from Otu – Jeremi , Ughelli South Local Government Area, noted that the huge crowd at the event was comprised of a cross section of Deltans including traditional rulers.
” This shows that Deltans are in support of Governor Okowa ‘ s PDP Vice President candidacy . ” She added.
Okoh hailed the PDP presidential candidate , Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for his wisdom and choice of Governor Okowa as his vice president candidate.” It is a wise decision ” she remarked.
Okoh expressed cofidence that Governor Okowa PDP Vice President candidature will boost the chances of the party winning the presidential election in the 2023 ” because he ( Governor Okowa )is a patriotic Nigerian who Nigerians know love Nigeria and has what its take to assist Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the task of rescuing Nigeria from the bondage of APC ” she added.
