A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP ) Delta State House of Assembly aspirant for Uvwie State Constituency, Chief ( Hon ) Bernard Onobia has stated that it was the turn of Enerhen Political Zone to produce the next Uvwie Delta State House of Assembly member in 2023.
Onobia stated this in an interaction with newsmen during his consultative visit to the chairman and councilors of Uvwie Local Government Council at the Uvwie Local Government Council Secretariat , Effurun on Tuesday 26th April, 2022.
Onobia an Uvwie chief from Enerhen Community also stated that Uvwie State Constituency has five
political zones as he listed them to include : Ugborikoko, Ekpan, Effurun, Enerhen and Ohorie / Ugbomro .
He pointed out that the Ugborikoko Political Zones served two tenures in the person of Hon Gibson Akporehe ; Ekpan Political Zone served two tenures in the person of Hon Efe Ofobruku and that Effurun Political Zone will complete its two tenures in the person of Chief ( Hon) Solomon Ighrakpata ( the incumbent member).
He therefore stated that the Enerhen Political Zone should be allowed to have its turn in the Uvwie Constituency Delta State House of Assembly seat in 2023 so as to have a sense of belonging in the state house of assembly seat in the constituency .
Onobia who bears the Uvwie chieftaincy title of ‘ love ‘was a councilor in Uvwie Local Government Council.
He promised that if given the mandate to serve, he will give the constituency a quality representation and also actualize the meaning of his chieftaincy among the Uvwie people .
” In the principles of equity and fair play I appeal to the leaders , elders and delegates of our great party to consider me for Uvwie State Constituency seat in Delta State House of Assembly in 2023 ” he added.
