United States based Operation Desert Storm Veteran, Chief Jomo Akpore has placed the blame of the excesses of Fulani nomads on the lukewarmness of the indigenous people of Nigeria who for crass ignorance accepted the fable that Mungo Park discovered the River Niger in the land where their forefathers had lived even before the recorded advent of the British Tourist.
In a reaction to the hostilities meted on Nigerians by the Fulania militias, Jomo Akpore in a statement made available to Spy News said the predating Fulani herdsmen were more than ever determined to annihilate the indigenous peoples of Nigeria because of misguided education that was provided to the indigenous peoples of Nigeria and had become the norms.
“More than determined, if put mildly or conservatively, as the Fulani normads are more than determined to annihilate the indigenes of the lands, who have been permanently resident, from immemorial Bantutan times.
“Why would they not behave way they have violently done so far, when we have in misguided education, in the never ending celebrations of ignorance, been gloriously dignifying the stupendous tutorials to our younger generations in encomiums and tutorials, that MUNGO PARK a curious Scottish tourist, discovered River Niger that our forebears have utilized in generational survival strands, even long before THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WAS BORN?”
He said the situation has been allowed to stay to the extent that his personal property, the Agbraran Ranch in Origin in Ughelli North LGA of Delta State could now be possibly claimed by Fulani herdsmen from Daura in Kastina State, and explained no further why the lives of the indigenous peoples of the South of Nigeria are in such precarious condition.
“We tend to always get it wrong in huge doses of misapplications of misguided education- such as the proprietors of AGBRANRAN RANCH IN OROGUN being tenants to landlords in DAURA as may be somehow misconstrued in meteoric perceptions- then we wonder why many aspects of our lives have precariously taken nose dives in Southern modes and digressions.
While the injustice last, Jomo lamented that the indigenous peoples of Nigeria fold their hands and in prayer wait for God to drop from the highest heavens to salvage them from the brutality of the Fulani herdsmen that is self imposed due to docility to act in self defense and ward off their enemies.
“We pray to the Almighty God to drop from the highest of heavens to salvage self impact human docilities of new norms!” He said.
