A new Wall Street Journal poll has found that former President Donald Trump and presidential candidate of the Republican Party is leading incumbent President Joe Biden in six of the seven most competitive States in the 2024 election scheduled to hold on November 5.
The poll was propelled by broad Voters dissatisfaction with the national economy and deep doubts about Biden’s capabilities and job performance.
In the poll, Trump holds between 2 and 8 per cent in six swing states namely: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and North Carolina. These were the battlegrounds that decided the 2016 and 2020 elections
” On a test ballot that includes third-party and independent candidates. Trump holds similar leads when voters are asked to choose only between him and Biden.” The Wall Street Journal reported .
