Foremost pro Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Urhobo socio political group, Urhobo Peoples Integrity Organisation ( UPIO) has endorsed a PDP aspirant in the Ughelli/ Udu Federal House of Representative seat, Olorogun Eunice Daji Okoh.
Okoh was endorsed at the general meeting of UPIO in Ekpan, Uvwie Local Government Area last weekend.
The National President of UPIO Dr ( Olorogun ) Ebenezer Okorodudu who spoke shortly before the endorsement, described Olorogun Eunice Daji Okoh as a resourceful, patriotic , humble, experienced grassroot politician.
He also remarked that the Okwagbe, Ughelli South Local Government Area born political amazon was trusted and tested as a former vice chairman of Ughelli South Local Government Council, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Okowa on Peace Building and Conflict Resolution and Urhobo Progress Union ( UPU ) activist .
Okorodudu added that as a philanthropist, Okoh has positively touched the lives of many less-previlliged even before vying for the political position.
He stated that the people of the Federal Constituency and indeed, Urhobo Nation will benefit from her wealth of experience and patriotism if she is given the mandate to serve at the Green Chambers of National Assembly in 2023.
Okorodudu had earlier noted that Okoh was the first aspirant to pay such visit.
The Okpare Olomu Ughelli South PDP chieftain then on behalf of UPIO endorsed Olorogun Eunice Daji Okoh for the Ughelli Udu Federal House of Representatives seat in 2023 .
Okoh who is one of the founding members of UPIO had earlier declared her intension for the Federal House of Representatives seat.
She promised to make a positive impact not only on the people of the Federal Constituency but to Urhobo Nation and Delta State if given the mandate to do so in 2023.
Highpoint of the event was special prayers said for Olorogun Okoh by distinguished clegies who are members of UPIO.
They included : The leader of Jewish Religion in Nigeria Rabbi ( Chief ) Israel Abido ( JP) , Bishop Dr Duke Akpososo and Dr Sam Efetobor.
