Taskforce on traffic control: Uvwie LGC warns commuters against impostors

Uvwie Local Government Council has warned commutters against impostors in its committee on traffic control.

The Chairman Taskforce on Traffic Control and Environment , Uvwie Local Government Council, Comrade Isaac Itebu gave the warning on behalf of the local government council boss, Hon Ramson Tega Onoyake in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent on Thursday 9th February, 2023.

He complained that the impostors had given the local government council a bad name in their illegal operations.

Comrade Itebu complained further that most unsuspecting motorists had fallen victims to the impostors who he said operated mostly at weekends.

He stated that the impostors charged astronomical levies to traffic lawbreakers in the local government area.

The Chairman Taskforce on Traffic Control and Environment Uvwie Local Government Council stated that the council was making serious efforts to track the impostors.

He however advised motorists in the area to always avoid breaking traffic rules to avoid falling victims to the impostors.
