Super Eagles Manager Jose Peseiro has expressed satisfaction with the standard of facilities at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin.
Speaking after inspection of the facility on Sunday afternoon, manager of the national team noted that it was world class and that the maintenance is superb.
The Super Eagles manager who was in company of some Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) officials including the Federation’s Technical Director, Austin Eguavoen, watched the Insurance Vs. Gombe Utd. NPFL week six match in Benin.
He commended the Edo State Government and Sports Commission team for the standard of infrastructure and maintenance culture already in place.
Peseiro pointed out that it was one thing to put massive infrastructure in place, and maintenance is another thing that is very important.
He said he was in Benin to watch the NPFL week six game involving the Insurance and Gombe to see some of the players’ performance.
The football tactician promised to visit again to watch players in action with a view to giving some Local League players callup opportunity to the national teams.
