* Says killers will be brought to book

By Praise Agbro, Lagos

Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu has assured that those responsible for the killing of Bamise, the 22 year old lady who was allegedly killed by a Bus Rapid Transit, BRT, driver will be punished according to the law.

In a release made available to the press, the governor said he is following the case with keen interest with a view

to ensuring that all involved in the murder of Bamise face the wrath of the law as provided by the Nigerian Constitution.

“I assure you that I am following all the investigations closely, and will ensure that Bamise gets the justice she deserves,” Sanwolu assured.

“I also assure you all that the BRT services remain safe, despite this condemnable act.”

The gruesome murder of the young lady has been widely condemned by Nigerians across board.
