…Urges prayers for love, peace in Nigeria

Edo State All Progressives Congress (APC) rejoices with the Muslim family in Nigeria, particularly in the State as Ramadan begins today; 11, March, 2024.

The APC in a statement by its State Publicity Secretary, Peter Enosoregbe Uwadiae Igbinigie Esq and made available to journalists in Benin on Monday, congratulates all Muslims for yet another Ramadan season.
Ramadan being a season of fasting and prayers unto Almighty Allah for the remission of man’s sins and spiritual renewal, it also behoves the faithful to re-enact the spirit of love, the Party said.
“As you embark on the journey of fasting and prayers for the forgiveness of sins and spiritual rebirth, we rejoice with you for the opportunity it presents to witness this day.

“As a Party, we join faith with you in this spiritual journey believing that our prayers will be answered by the Almighty Allah.
“This is as we acknowledge that it is in agreement with the times in our country and State demanding the divine intervention of Allah to turn things around for good.
“Therefore, we fervently ask that we be our brothers keeper especially at this time of adversity; showing undying love; the only virtue which erodes all discriminating barriers.

“We want to also urge prayers for Edo State and Nigeria as a whole for Allah to heal the land of all insecurity threats and grant us enduring peace.
“Also pray for Allah to give us a new heart and spirit to fear and obey Him, refrain from evil deeds, and may He continue to protect, guide and guard our leaders in the task of nation building.
