52 suspects including 34 suspected kidnappers, 12 cultists, 2 fraudsters and 4 gunrunners were paraded by the Delta State Police Command in Ughelli yesterday.

They were paraded during a press conference held at the ‘A’ Division of NPF, Ughelli.
Command’s PPRO SP Edafe Bright who briefed journalists on the achievements of the Command gave kudos to the efforts of the Commissioner of Police Special Assignment Team CP-SAT led by ASP Julius Robinson for the fete in containing the activities of hoodlums in Ughelli, Warri and Sapele environs.
Among items recovered from the criminals are: Seven AK-47, one AK-49,one G3, six PUMP action, nine LMG. 16 Baretta Pistols, 35 cartridges, 53 ammunition, seven cutlasses, N5.5million ransom.

The police said 3 kidnap victims were rescued by the team within the period (February 1st to October 9, 2024).
