Delta State Police Command has declared one Stanley Ovemureye native of Agbarho on Ughelli North LGA wanted for the gruesome murder of his own six year old daughter, Baby Abigail Stanley.

The suspect who is now at large is accused of murder of the six year old girl by repeatedly smashing her head against the wall and bursting her scalp.
The sad and painful incident happened yesterday, Saturday, June 15 and was reported by the fleeing suspects brother to the police in Agbarho.
On receipt of the complaint the DPO of Agbarho Division detailed Operatives to New Uvwiama Layout, scene of the crime where the corpse of the deceased was recovered and has since been deposited in a morgue.
” The Commissioner of Police, CP Olufemi Abaniwonda saddened by this barbaric act, has ordered a serious manhunt for the fleeing suspect and assures members of the public that the suspect will be arrested and justice will be served.
” He urged anyone with useful information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect to call the control room number on 0803684974 or report at the nearest police station.” A statement issuedby the Command’s PPRO SP Edafe Bright said.
