A Computer operator who was engaged by the Parents Teachers’ Association, PTA, of Nana Primary School, Warri but went ahead to steal seven of the computers meant for training the pupils has been arrested by the police.

8 out of the 15 Zinox computer pieces supplied by the Delta State Government for the purpose of training the school pupils on ICT awareness went missing and this prompted a staff of the school, name withheld, to report the missing items to the A Division of the Nigeria Police, Warri, on Monday.

Upon receipt of the complaint the police commenced investigation and clues pointed at the computer operator, Oki Precious, 34, as prime suspect.

The suspect was confronted and took the police to his house where seven of the computers were found.

The case has been charged to Court, a statement by the Delta State Police Command’s PPRO, DSP Bright Edafe issued today said.

Meanwhile, the police said they have arrested 15 other suspects during a raid on some black spots in Sapele during which various criminal evidences were recovered
