The Executive Assistant to Gov Okowa on religious matters, Bishop Nmalagwu Greatman has assured that God is in charge of the PDP mega rally scheduled for tomorrow at the Cenotaph in Asaba.
He spoke when a team of journalists visited the venue of the forthcoming mega rally at the Cenotaph, Asaba to have a view of the preparedness of the party.
He explained that the formidable prayer team Led by Bishop Nmalagu Greatman himself who is also the BOT Chairman of Christian Community platform (CCP) has prayed for the success of the event.
He assured Deltans that the eyes of God is on the State and the forthcoming elections will reproduce another good man to take over from Governor Okowa to consolidate on his good works.
When accosted by journalists he said, ‘ Governor Okowa, the leader of PDP in Delta state and amiable governor is a man of prayer. He and his team of PDP leadership faithfully believe in God. That is why, prayers were made individually and collectively for him .”
When Rev Chima Israel , the prayer coordinator of CCP was questioned on the importance of PDP putting God first ahead of the rally ,
, he replied ” PDP is a party led by God fearing man: Sen. Dr Arthur ifeanyi Okowa.”
He noted that having placed God first, it is quite obvious that through this rally God will make it very successful and peaceful .
On his part, Rev Bilotu Philip, the editor of The True Path magazine, averred that God will be using this rally to unite PDP leadership and members the more for the success of the forthcoming election of PDP.
“Things are getting better in Delta State through the administration of Governor Okowa who usually places God above everything the party does.” He concluded.
