Past students’ leaders of tertiary institutions in Delta State under the aegis of Comrade Community have endorsed one of their own, Hon Comrade Friday Warri Ovoke who is standing for election as Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Council in the council elections slated to hold on Saturday, July 13 across the state.
The endorsement was given last week Wednesday in Oleh during the official presentation of People’s Democratic Party flag to the Chairmanship candidate of the party, Hon Comrade Friday Warri Ovoke, a long standing member of the Comrade Community.
Speaking during the declaration of the endorsement, President of the Comrade Community, Mr Akpotoboro Oghenemaro said the endorsement was an expression of unwavering confidence the group reposed on Hon Comrade Friday Warri Ovoke based on his antecedents in his days as a students’ leader and assured the people of Isoko South of the huge benefits they stood to gain from the exemplary leadership qualities endowed on the candidate when elected.
” Hon Comrade Friday Warri Ovoke’s manifestos outlines a compelling vision for progressive change, promising to elevate the living standard and development trajectory of Isoko South, Isoko nation and the nation at large.” Akpotoboro said and called on the electorate to give the candidate the needed support at the polls.
The Comrade Community group parades professionals and personalities from all walks of life that are making impact on society.
Among members who witnessed the endorsement declaration were: the group’s Board of Trustees Chairman, Comrade Elijah Ologe, Mrs Juliet Noyor Atsenuwa, Alakpa Onojevwe, Michael Nwandu, Julie Akiri, Daniel Uchakor, Pius Igben, Notoma Henry Emuobo and Benjamin Efekodo.
