The Chairman Delta State Taskforce on Enviroment , Hon Syvelster Oromoni ( Snr ) has asserted that the election of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP )Delta State governoship candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori was divine.

He made the assertion in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent in Asaba on Tuesday 21st March , 2023 .

He therefore opined that ‘ no man can change the divine mandate of God ” .

While commenting on the defection of some PDP members to the All Progressive Congress ( APC ) shortly before the governorship election, he stated that the said party members were driven by the spirit of greed .

Most of them ( defected PDP members ) were key members of Governor’s Okowa administration and the PDP ” .

” They were lured by the empty promises of the APC ” he added.

Oromoni stressed that Delta State was a PDP state and that the laudable achievements of Governor Okowa have even endeared the party to the hearts of Deltans.

” So it is impossible for any other political party to wrestle power from PDP in Delta State ” Oromoni stated.
