Gov Ifeanyi Okowa

A Special Assistant ( SA) to Governor Okowa on Political Matters, Comrade Kingsley Iweka Odiaka has expressed optimism that governor elect, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori will improve on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa ‘ s achievements.

Odiaka who stated this in an exclusive media chat with our correspondent at a public function in Asaba , explained that his optimism was based on the fact that governor elect had worked closely with Governor Okowa for a long period of time and therefore knows where to improve upon in the administration of the state.
Odiaka who expressed appreciation to Governor Okowa for his appointment as a Special Assistant had earlier hailed Okowa for his laudable achievements so far.
He specifically hailed Governor Okowa for building of an international airport in Asaba, construction of gigantic drainage systems in Asaba, Warri and other parts of Delta State, establishment of various youth empowerment programs, building of a befitting civil servants secretariat in Asaba, establishment of 3 universities , establishment of 9 technical colleges, the on going dualization Asaba / Ughelli Road among others.

He then urged Deltans to extend their support for Governor Okowa to the governor elect Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.
