Delta Queens Squad

Delta State contigent for the 2025/2026 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), Delta Queens Squad, has been unveiled.
At the official presentation of the Squad in Asaba, the Executive Chairman of Delta State Sports Commission, Hon Onoriode Oborevwori expressed confidence in the team’s preparedness for the football competition.
He reaffirmed the state’s government commitment to providing necessary support for a successful Sports (female football) campaign, and in advancing women football across the state.
He described Delta Queens as a symbol of pride, resilience and excellence adding that the squad’s record of remarkable performance and achievements over the years has continued to inspire young female footballers.
The 2025/2026 NWFL season is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, November 26,2025.
Delta Queens will start their quest for domestic glory with an away fixture against Nasarawa Amazons in a match that promises to set the stage for an exciting female football competition season.
