Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has celebrated three illustrious sons of Delta State; the Rt Hon Victor Ochei, High Chief Dr Matt Offeh, and Chief Fred Majemite who both clocked 57, 60 and 62 years of age respectively.
In separate statements issued by the Governor’s Spokesman, Sir Festus Ahon, he described Ochei as an accomplished politician, astute businessman and committed philanthropist whose contributions to the growth and development of Delta State remain indelible.

Ochei was a former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and presently, President of Nigeria Tennis Federation.
For High Chief Offeh, Oborevwori described the Isoko born entrepreneur as a towering figure in enterprise, community development and regional advancement.
He praised Offeh for his remarkable contributions to the economic growth and social transformation of the Niger Delta, particularly, the Isoko Nation.
“The diamond jubilee is a milestone that reflects a legacy of hardwork, integrity and selfless service” Oborevwori said.

Offeh is the Eni 1 of Irri kingdom in Isoko South Local Government Area and CEO of Lesoda Group of companies including Lesoda oil and gas, Lesoda farms and People’s Concept.
The Governor said Chief Majemite has consistently given account of himself in and out of government, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues, associates and people across the state.

“Chief Fred Majemite has over the years demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a deep passion for service.
His contribution to governance and his impact on the legal profession and business community remain noteworthy “, the governor said. Chief Fred Majemite was a former Commissioner for Lands, Survey and Urban development in Delta State.
