Nigeria Junior Female cricket team the Yellow Greens

continued to show the great potential of the sport by beating Ireland in their last match of the ICC Cricket World Cup Super Six.

Nigeria won the match by 6 runs, making it an impressive second victory at the Under 19 Women’s World Cup in Malaysia.

Nigeria’s Lilian Ude won Player Of The Match award after a sterling performance.

Out of five matches played in the tournament, Nigeria won two, lost just one, while two other games were abandoned due to poor weather.

The Yellow Greens ended their memorable journey in the competition third in the Super Six Group 2 standings.
