* Says Magege is a failed waste manager
By Jon Egie
National Coordinator of Niger Delta Energy Youth Initiative, NDEYI, Comrade Felix Akpoyibo has taken Chief Olori Magege to the cleaners saying the Agbarho born politician failed the cheap litmus test of public service.
Akpoyibo in a terse statement issued today, said Chief Olori Magege failed as a waste manager when he was given the opportunity to serve Deltans in the Board of waste management after being so loquacious.
“He lacks the capacity to deliver on any public assignment and was only pretending to be a critic just to draw attention for pecuniary benefits that would line his personal pocket.” Akpoyibo said.
According to Akpoyibo, the exposure of his dearth of mental acumen to cause meaningful change and impact on public life led to his sack by outgoing Governor Ifeanyi Okowa who saw him as a misfit for public service.
Olori Magege failed to bring needed innovation in the board of waste management while he served as Chairman of the board in the era, where in the emerging energy sector, no waste item is useless but could be recycled for economic values and yet Olori Magege failed to use the opportunity of his appointment into that office to contribute to the economic growth of Delta State because of his myopic view and distance from global technology trend. He failed Deltans woefully and left the board without a blueprint.
Akpoyibo said the person of Olori Magege due to his dismal performance in public service does not have the tenacity to talk about Deputy Senate President and Delta APC Governorship candidate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege who has achieved beyond limits in public service.
He charged Olori Magege to tell Deltans, if he could, whether or not, there are opportunities and benefits to the teeming number of law students in Delta and Edo States, available from the law school that Senator Ovie Omo-Agege attracted to Delta State before he goes about telling his tales of lies laced with malice.
