The number One citizen of Udu Local Government Area, Chief ( Hon) Jite Brown has canvassed support for a leading Peoples Democratic Party ( (PDP ) Ughelli/ Udu Federal House of Representative aspirant, Olorogun Eunice Daji Okoh.
This was contained in his address when he along with PDP Udu delegates, played host to the female political icon cum philanthropist at his country home of Aladja , Udu Local Government Area on Wednesday 18th May, 2022
” The Udu people are happy with you. I am not saying this because you are here but because of your performances
” We have had encounter with you in one way or the other. So, I want to greet you on behalf of the Udu people; greet you on behalf of the special delegates.” he added
The Udu Local Government Council boss also hailed Olorogun Eunice Daji Okoh for being the only woman in the contest.
On the choice of who to represent the Federal Constituency at the Green Chambers in 2023 , Chief Jite Brown declared that ” this time around, let us give the women a chance .
” If you have a mother; if you have a sister, you will know what I am taking about ” he added.
Olorogun Eunice Daji Okoh had assured that if given the mandate, she will impact postively on the Federal Constituency with her wealth of experience and a mother and daughter of the area.
Okoh also stated that she was the best choice of the aspirants, going by her pedigree as a former Vice Chairman of Ughelli South, aide to Governor Okowa ,successful labour employer and business woman and Christain .
Okoh further noted that she was closer to the people because she lived and played her politics in the area and therefore knew the problems of the constituency as well as aspirations of the people.
She promised to be rendering her account of stewardship and also be accessible to the people if elected into power.
Okoh had earlier in her speech noted that she was at home based on the fact she hails from Udu Community of Obubu.
She thanked Chief Brown, the PDP delegates and others for the red carpet reception accorded her.
