The Chief Immam of Petroleum Training Institute ( PTI ) Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area , Alhaji Suleiman Salisu has appreciated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa over his interest on Muslims festivals in Delta State.
He made the appreciation shortly after the Eid-el-kabir prayers at Ogbe Secondary School Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area on Saturday 9th July , 2022 .
He specifically appreciated Governor Okowa for his hospitality for Muslims in Delta State .
Salisu then urged Muslims in the state to always remember Governor Okowa in their prayers.
He prayed for the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, HRM Abe 1 and political leaders in the area.
The Chief Immam also prayed for the peace, unity and security of Nigeria.
The Seriki ( leader ) Arewa Community in Uvwie Local Government Area Alhaji Suleiman Jauro expressed gratitude to Allah over the huge success of the event.
