Dr Richard Kofi

The Chairman of Ughelli South Local Government Area, Hon. (Dr.) Richard Kofi, has congratulated Governor lfeanyi Okowa and all Deltans on the 30th anniversary of the creation of the state.
In a statement signed on behalf of the chairman, by Dr. Joseph Okeoghene Ubrurhe, the Secretary to the local government (SLG), Dr Kofi recalled the sojourn of the oil rich state and applauded the efforts of the founding fathers whose track records had endured the stability of Delta at 30.
The statement reads in part as:
” On behalf of myself , management, staff ,and good people of Ughelli South local government council, l Hon.( Dr.) Richard Kofi, Executive Chairman of Ughelli south local government , heartily felicitate with his Excellency, Senator Dr Arthur lfeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta State , and indeed , all Deltans, on the milestone celebration of the creation of our state ” .
He noted that the people of Ughelli South were proud to be associated with the Governor, who according to him had brought meaningful development to the state.
The Chairman described the Governor of Delta State as a messiah of our time whose track records of excellent and quality achievements, has transformed the landmark of the entire state.
He added further, “Governor Okowa since he assumed the leadership of the state, infrastructural development has swept across the three senatorial zones, which has never been expected before now”.
He called on Deltans to rally round the Governor, pray for him so that the next one and a half years of the remaining period of his administration will bring in more blessings to Deltans.
