* Restates commitment to the Nigeria Project
* Inducted into DOPF’s Niger Delta Hall of Fame

Chief Government Ekpemupolo, aka TOMPOLO, has called on talented and resourceful Nigerians to rise to the occasion of the present economic and security challenges to contribute their quota to the rescue of the nation from collapse .
TOMPOLO maďe the call last weekend when the media group, Delta Online Publishers’ Forum, DOPF, inducted him into the orgabization’s reward platform named, Niger Delta Hall of Fame.
The event which held at Oporoza the traditional headquarters of Gbaramatu kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State recorded the presence of Chieftains of Gbaramatu Kingdom including the Generalasimo of Niger Delta, TOMPOLO, traditional and political leaders of Gbaramatu Kingdom, members and Board of Trustees of DOPF and other media personalities across the country who witnessed the the induction ceremony.
Speaking during the occasion, Chief Government Ekpomupolo accepted and appreciated the honour bequeathed on him by DOPF and said the award would spur him to be more committed to his zest to patriotism to Nigeria.
Expressing his belief in the success of the ‘Nigeria Project’ TOMPOLO said he, as an individual has no other country apart from Nigeria to call his own and hence, he is absolutely committed in body, spirit and soul to seeing that Nigeria gets out of the woods of present economic and insecurity challenges.
He restated his avowal to protect the country’s critical and economic infrastructure in the face of threat and sabotage by greedy and unpatriotic citizens in collaboration with foreign partners and hence, reiterated his call for all hands to be on deck in that regard.
“I don’t have any other place except Nigeria. Nigeria is the only country I have so we must all join hands to protect and move Nigeria forward.
“Our economy is in dire need of survival so we can not fold our hands and allow some persons to sabotage the nation’s economy because of greed.” The Niger Delta leader said.
The official induction and presentation of the award were done by the Chairman of Board of Trustee (BoT) of DOPF, Chief Omafume Amurun.
Early on , Chairman of DOPF, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli, in his pre induction speech noted that the decision to honour and induct Chief Government Ekpemupolo into the Niger Delta Hall of Fame was sequel to a majority vote of the people of the Niger Delta Region in an online poll conducted by DOPF that spanned between June and October 2021
” Ekpemupolo’s selection for this prestigious honour was also based on his uncommon struggles and determination towards the liberation of the Niger Delta Region from economic stranglehold , stagnation and deprivations; environmental degradation, political and social marginalization in the assizes of equity and fairplay in Nigeria.” Enebeli said.
