Isoko Mirror newspaper holds award ceremony and book launch Nov 3

FONE Media Integrated Ventures, publishers of Isoko Mirror newspaper will hold an award giving ceremony ” Delta pillar of Development awards”with a book launch titled “Isoko outstanding personalities” authored by the CEO, Dr.Felida Essi.

The event which will hold on the 3rd November 2023, at Mano Hotel and suites (former Eboh Hotel) Oleh will attract dignitaries across Delta State and beyond.

One time former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Delta State chapter, Chief Emmanuel Ogidi will be on hand to speak about the level of development in Isoko Nation compared to other ethnic nationalities in Delta State in particular and across Nigeria in general.

The awards are aimed at encouraging and ginger the awardees to contribute more for the development of Isoko Nation as well as others to emulate them.

Some of the awardees are Chief Dr. Kenneth Idiodi, currently the president of the Rosicrucian order, AMORC, Nigeria, Grand Master (GM) and director of the supreme board of AMORC, while a posthumous Award will be bestowed on a foremost sports nationalist, late Dr. Awoture Eleyae and others.

The ceremony will be under the distinguished chairmanships of the special adviser to the Governor of Delta State on projects monitoring/Audit, Dr. Goodnews Agbi, while the father and mother of the day will be Arch-Bishop Dr Eric U Emiaso and wife, Bishop Dr (Mrs) Rita Emiaso respectively.

The book “Isoko Outstanding personalities” is a must read because, it chronicles about 178 Isoko sons and daughters, dead and alive on their immense contributions to the growth and development of Isoko Nation.

While the award, “Delta pillar of Development awards” is first of its kind, showcasing the Isoko sons and daughters immensed contributions to the growth of Delta State, not just about Isoko Nation alone.
