* Says means of rescue irrelevant

Tinubu Shettima Administration Support Group, TSASG, has hailed President Bola Tinubu and thanked him for the swift release of the kidnapped 287 schoolchildren of Government Secondary School and LEA primary school in Chikum LGA of Kaduna State.
A statement issued by the National Coordinator of the group, Comrade Felix Akpoyibo, Wednesday, from Benin said the group does not care about the means by which the release of the kidnap victims was secured stressing that what mattered was they were alive and freed.
” By whatever means their freedom was secured does not matter, what matters is they are alive and free. Even the UK, US, Canada and other developed countries have their peculiar mechanisms of resolving such issues. Had the same swift near real-time approach been adopted by the Jonathan Administration the over 200 kidnapped Chibok girls would all be alive and their families happy.
” We thank Mr President for taking the rescue of the girls very serious. This is the first time in Nigeria when kidnap victims regain their freedom in less than 21 days. How it was done does not matter, what matters is they regained their freedom.
“We appeal to President Tunubu to be focused and ignore the vituperations of critics. He should look at all positive directions in moving the country forward.
“We also commend Mr President for inviting Gumi to hear his side of the story on how to tackle the insecurity challenge especially in northern Nigeria and we call for the involvement of more stakeholders across all the regions of the country for this purpose.”
