The Oghwuvwie ( President ) of Agbarha Warri Community of Edjeba , Chief ( Hon) Richard Akpor Okoro has stated that environmental sanitation exercise was a priority in the community
He stated this while fielding questions from news men on issues concerning environmental sanitation in the community during the last Delta State monthly environmental sanitation exercise.
The President of the community who physically parttook in the exercise reasoned that a clean environment was good for a healthy living.
” After all cleanliness is next to Godliness ” he added
The Oghwuvwie of Edjeba Warri Community explained that he physically parttook in the exercise because he believed in the principle of ‘ leadership by example ‘.
He expressed appreciation to the President and members of Rotary Club of Edjeba for also partaking in the exercise.
Okoro seized the opportunity to call on the Niger Delta Development Commission ( NDDC ) to complete its rehabilitation of Peter Kings Link Road to Hilltop Schools project that is close to Government House Annex , Edjeba Warri.
He also appealed to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the rehabilitation of the road to Delta Broadcasting Service ( DBS ) , Edjeba Warri .
Okoro noted that the road was an important link between College of Education, Edjeba-Warri to the ever busy NPA Warri/ Effurun Express Warri.
