As part of efforts to extend its frontiers, the Evangelical Christian Ministries (ECM), Ughelli, has ordained three of its members into its clergy. They are Christopher Omuno, Freedom Eturhoma Okpubeku (ordained as Pastors) and Felicia M. C. (ordained as Deaconess).
The ordination ceremony which took place on Thursday, December 26, 2024 was held at the Ministry’s headquarters at No. 1, ECM Lane, Off Dortie Street, Uloho Avenue, Ughelli, Delta State, during the Ministry’s 2024 edition of its annual December convention christened BERACHAH WORD FESTIVAL that started Tuesday, December 24, and ended December, 26..
Conducting the ordination, the General Overseer of the Ministry, Bishop (Dr.) Chris Okoh, said that the ordination is the human part of what God has done in them, calling them to serve in the ministry.
“This is only a confirmation of what God has planted in their hearts … In the presence of the Almighty God and in the presence of this multitude, I anoint you into the ministry in the name of God the Father, and of the Son and the Holy Spirit,” he stated.
Present at the occasion are Pastors and members of the five outstation branches of the ministry at Okwagbe, Ogbe-Udu, Amadadja, Otokutu and Agbarha-otor as well as the Ughelli headquarters members and their well-wishers.
Bishop (Dr.) Chris Okoh, leader of the ECM, was the first Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Ughelli North Chapter.
