Delta State Police Command recovers lethal weapons from criminals

Delta State Police Command has recovered five pieces of AK-47 assault rifles with over 489 ammo from criminals in the month of June ended.

The state Commissioner of Police, CP Wale Abass disclosed this today during a press briefing at the Command’s headquarters, Asaba.

Among other lethal weapons recovered from criminals were: 24 local fabricated guns, 469 cathridges and eight vehicles.

The CP assured Delta residents of adequate security and solicited for information that would help in combating crime and criminality.p

He urged residents to monitor their environment and report any strange movement to the Police.
