“The APC cannot but today once again congratulate the people of Edo in the 64 year journey of Nigeria’s independence, considering the many positives achieved; yet in the midst of stubborn challenges.”

As a Party, we truly acknowledge the spirit of hard work and resilience which drives your daily struggles, even in the face of difficult situations.

Hence you deserve all the commendations as the Nigeria nation today marks her 64 year independence anniversary.

As we celebrate today therefore, no matter the challenges that seem to threaten our collective good and progress, when the APC officially takes over power on the 12 November, 2024, your mandate will not be taken for granted!

Our mantle bearer; the Governor – elect, Monday Okpebholo and his deputy, Dennis Idahosa are thorough bred grassroots politicians; they know the issues and challenges as they are!

Appropriately and timely, they will tackle them head on deploying all the needed mechanisms and capitalising on the comparative advantages that we have as a State!

The Governor – elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo and his deputy, Hon. Dennis Idahosa are more than capable to navigate the bends and rough waters to bring succour to us all!

This is as we recognise that it is easier when we pull together; the contribution of everyone is required in the journey ahead of us!

We therefore appeal for your continued resilience, commitment, cooperation and partnership as we confidently match forward into the envisioned glorious dawn of our great State; Edo!
