As traditional, the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) World-wide, has begun her annual Convocation for Christmas at the holy City: Imeko, Ogun State, its Global Headquarters.
Members have been trooping in from across Nigeria and beyond since last week, hitting a peak few days to Christmas.
All arrangements towards having a hitch free celebration have been put in place.
A medical team is on ground attending to members as it is ready for any emergency.
Also, a combined team of the Army, Police, National Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), under cover security operatives and local Vigilante are ready; to provide tight security.
This is as the volume of commercial activities in the City has increased geometrically, with the environment particularly, the Church area is wearing a festive look.
The ‘Mercyland’; a large expanse area where an open air service is usually held in the Church, daily bubbles With worshippers who have come to the presence of God with supplication like the biblical barren woman: Hannah in Shiloh.
It has been revival unending since the Convocation began, with prayers, prophetic declaration; and songs ministration by various visiting Choir groups.
Notably, the annual event has remained a place for happy re-union of members, meeting new friends, and spiritual rejuvenation.
Expectedly; the Pastor and Spiritual Head, World-wide, Emmanuel Mobino Oshoffa will be on Christmas day, presiding over the Congregational Church worship and praise service.
This year’s edition is entitled: ‘Emmanuel – God with Us
