Hon Julius Akpovoka, Convener of Coalition of Stakeholders Group for African Democratic Congress, ADC in Delta State, yesterday, donated party membership registers and membership cards to the ADC in Delta State.
Receiving the donation in Asaba, the elated State Chairman of the party, Hon Austin Okolie expressed his satisfaction and gratitude to the donor noting that as a new entrant, Hon Akpovoka has made an indelible mark and demonstrated a show of commitment to the growth and progress of the party in Delta State.
He said the gesture was also an indication of Akpovoka’s readiness to mobilise and support the party at all levels.
He promised to relate harmoniously with the entire structure and groups of the party for the purpose of winning elections.
The number of membership cards and registers donated were sufficient to cover all units in all wards across the state.
Speaking in an interview at the sideline of the event, Hon Akpovoka called on other stakeholders to also make donations all of which will add up to a set target of 1.5 million registered members that will form the base of a voting strength to contest and win the 2027 elections in the state.
He further charged stakeholders to be involved in active mobilisation of people from their local units and wards to register as members of the ADC.
“I call on all stakeholders including members of other political parties, those who have just attained voting age and are getting their voters cards and those who have not joined any political party before to take advantage of ongoing registration of new members and join the ADC and together we will cause a positive change in Nigeria”, he said.
