“The fact that the command and Asaba are bounded in the East, by Edo and other parts of the country, is important for these security strategies to be reviewed.”
The DCP operations pointed out that the installation of advanced and functional CCTV cameras in the banking environment is very important to support the effort of the police in monitoring what goes on in the banking environment.
The DCP reiterated the commands commitement in the fight against crime and criminality in the state noting that the meeting is just a tip of the iceberg in the proacitve measures being taken by the command to ensure that the state has a crime free Ember months.

In her response, the Chief security officer central Bank of Nigeria, Mrs Evangeline Patrick commended the command for the initiative and stated that the Central Bank does not release cash to banks who are not armed with adequate number of Policemen on special escort.
